We welcome customers with a Japanese garden of 1,350 tsubo (about 4,460 square meters or 48,000 square feet) and in-room meal service.
The 1,350-tsubo garden, boasting a 100-year history, seems to have sprung out of a painting. Dinner is a meal served in a tatami room, and you can enjoy it in a relaxed manner. Please relax in body and mind in a garden open-air bath, also known as “Bijin no Yu (Beauty Hot Spring).”
It is easily accessible, as it is located 10 minutes from Shinkansen Shin-Tamana Station and 5 minutes from JR Tamana Station.
This is the Kyushu area at the western end of Japan. The hotel is located in Tamana Onsen, Kumamoto Prefecture, in the middle of it. It is a 10-minute drive from Shinkansen Shin-Tamana Station and a 5-minute drive from JR Tamana Station. It is the shortest, 37-minute, Shinkansen ride from Hakata Station in Fukuoka City, so it may be more convenient than staying in a suburb of Fukuoka City.
For those who wish it, we offer free pick-up from Shin-Tamana Station to our hotel. Please make sure that you inform us of your arrival time, as advance reservations are required.

A variety of beautiful, vividly colored flowers such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, and wisteria are in full bloom. Every night, as it gets dark, an illumination show called “Light Illusion” is put on to create a healing time.

The hotel rooms are 10-tatami (18.25 square meters, 196 square feet) Japanese-style rooms located on the first and second floors, and you can enjoy a view of the garden from any of them. The scent of mat rush, which has been used for tatami mats in Japan since ancient times, is said to enhance the relaxation effect.

Tamana is blessed with abundant nature, having Mt Shodaisan at the back and the Ariake Sea stretching in front. Using Kumamoto seasonal ingredients produced by the land and sea, we offer seasonal dishes that incorporate seasonal changes. Enjoy your meals in your room in a relaxed manner.
ONSEN
The hot springs at the hotel are beloved of everyone because the spring qualities are high in radium and are less irritating. They are also known as the “Beauty Hot Spring,” because long baths can be taken and they have a high moisturizing effect. Divided into men and women areas, each has an indoor bath and a garden open-air bath. The garden, illuminated at night and floating in the light, has a dreamy aura.
